FACULTY AT WORK SESSION 1

The theme of the first session is ‘New Perspectives on Repatterning’. This will be an ‘out of the box’ and ‘Look behind the scenes’ exploration and revisiting of the unique balance created by Paul Dennison. We invite you to join together in a group experience of Dennison Laterality Repatterning.

Here are some of the questions we will be exploring for a start. Feel free to add any questions, experiences and perspectives of your own:

  • What is the interaction between Repatterning and the childhood reflexes?
  • How could you reach even better outcomes when Repatterning yourself and your clients?
  • Why do we do Repatterning – what is the concept behind the process?
  • What is the purpose of the different steps in Repatterning?
  • What variations can we bring in to encompass the needs of individual clients?
  • How can you enhance your Noticing of Cross Crawl and Homolateral Crawl in yourself and your clients to make them more effective?
  • How can you enhance the use of eye direction in the balance?
  • Anything else you would like to contribute and explore!

FACULTY AT WORK SESSION 2

The second session will be co-created by participants and Kay, Suzanne and Niki:

  • What would you like to experience or explore from the Brain Gym programme? This could be any courses, balances, techniques, concepts or background.
  • What would you like to understand better – all questions are good questions!
  • Big or small, we invite you to send your requests to us at faculty@braingym.org.uk by 15 September. Let’s have fun exploring together!
