This course prepares you to:
- become an accredited facilitator of in depth personal change through one-to-one consultations, and
- deliver short trainings based on the Brain Gym programme, such as in-service trainings
The training to become an Educational Kinesiology Consultant, Professional Level 2, is taught by Faculty Instructors (senior trainers) in an intensive seven day programme.
The course is highly practical and you will be demonstrating your grasp of the concepts, techniques and movement activities throughout. Your peers and the Instructor will provide constructive feedback. At the end of the course, the Instructor will let you know whether you have achieved your accreditation or whether some further practice is required.

How is the training delivered?
- There is a high practical content to the training, with sustained trainee participation
- Students will be asked to demonstrate their understanding of many aspects of the Brain Gym material in the class through presentations, eg concepts, processes, techniques and activities
- Short discussions on topics will be lead by individual trainees
- Work is often in groups or pairs
- There is continuous constructive peer and Instructor feedback
- Reviews of the techniques are incorporated into the training in an interactive way
- The training focuses on delivery skills and client interaction as well as familiarity with the material
- There is ample opportunity for further self-development and progress within the class context in areas of the programme that you and the Instructor identify as needing additional attention

Consultancy
- Evaluating what you know and what you still need to know
- Working on confidence in dealing with clients
- Enhancing areas of challenge in the client process
- Modelling a client session
- Taking payment and keeping records
- Setting up an Edu-K consultancy room
Delivering training
- Reviewing key aspects of the programme and concepts
- Individual presentation styles: what works for you and what doesn’t
- Creating programmes for talks and seminars
- Presenting the ‘balance’ (goal achievement) process, adapting for seminars
- Co-teaching seminars and courses
- Presentation of sample marketing materials: appeal, format, adherence to trademark and copyright, following ASA guidelines in relation to Edu-K and Brain Gym
Requirements prior to attending the course
Before attending the Educational Kinesiology Consultant Course, you will need to check you have completed the following home study:
- Self-development sessions: 21 sessions received from peers or qualified Consultants) – 30 hours
- Practical applications: 4 case studies (either 2 x 1 hour sessions or 1 x 2 hour session on 4 separate people) – these may be completed after attending Brain Gym 101, Optimal Brain Organisation and Visioncircles courses – 16 hours
- Sample marketing materials: Bring some ideas to the course for further discussion
- An Edu-K related project: no set hours, discuss with a Faculty member
- Home study: Students will need to have completed all previous home study requirements
At the end of the course
At the end of the course, if your accreditation has been confirmed, you will need to complete some formalities to be presented with your Certificate of Qualification as an Educational Kinesiology Consultant:
- Signature of a Sub-licence Agreement with the Educational Kinesiology Trust
- Enrolment as a Professional Member of the Educational Kinesiology Trust (includes continuing professional development requirements after 2 years)
- Copy of a Certificate of Professional Insurance
